Lately, I have been fascinated with weaving little gemmy beads into sterling silver for a little punch of color. My designs generally have very clean lines with little ornamentation so I love the look of a simple row of little dots of color for embellishment. Here are some of the more recent creations. I have oxidized the metal for some of the designs in order to bring out the color of the gems. I will be adding more bangles (similar to my bangles tutorial that was published in Contemporary Bead & Wire Jewelry (Lark Books)) in the next few weeks.
All of the designs pictured are available at both http://www.mariecarter.com/ and http://mariecarter.etsy.com/ for purchase. I hope that you love viewing these necklaces and earrings as much as I loved making them!
